I came across a web page
that had the origin of the Watts surname, it said it came from the territorial
name 'de Wath' which the Flemings had adopted. They had a lengthy family tree
traced back to the thirteenth century. Does this mean that the name is Flemish
not Norman as with Walter? Also a lot of the derivations that supposedly come
